Van Latham

Van M. Latham is an Industrial/Organizational psychologist specializing in Human Resources management. Dr. Latham works in all areas of Human Capital, but is known primarily for his work in organizational and leadership development. At PathPoint, he has helped businesses improve organizational capability and performance through effective people practices. He has consulted with some of the world's most recognizable companies and brands, such as American Express, AMD, Ashland, Biogen Idec, CVS/Caremark, Dollar General, Ernst & Young, Foot Locker, Harvard University, Hershey's, Hubbell, Lenovo, McGraw Hill Financial, Marriott, Paychex, PepsiCo, SAP, and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Prior to founding PathPoint Consulting, Dr. Latham held leadership roles in Human Resources and Management and Organizational Development at PepsiCo (Pepsi-Cola and Pizza Hut). Most recently he was the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Iron Mountain, Inc. Prior to his business career, Dr. Latham was an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizational Behavior at Creighton University.

In addition to leading PathPoint, Dr. Latham serves as an executive coach in the Harvard Business School's executive education programs. He also angel invests in HR Technology start-ups. He serves on the Advisory Board of HireVue as well as the Editorial Board of EEO Insights. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology where he has served on the Professional Practice Committee. He holds a B.A. in psychology from Baylor University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University.
